Tetra Pak sees Aura Long Life as the economic choice

The Tetra Pak production plant in Råbyholm, Sweden, uses Aura Long Life. „I am very happy with Aura Long Life, and now when anyone tells me they are about to replace their fluorescent lamps you can guess what I recommend”.

The Råbyholm plant in Lund is one of Tetra Pak’s largest production facilities in Sweden. Work is carried out effectively here assembling filling machines from early in the morning to late at night, 250 days a year. The machines are delivered together with Tetra Pak’s paper packaging to dairies and other companies, and are used for filling everything from milk and cream packets to juice and wine containers.

Aura Long Life is the economic choice

Peter Sjöström from Tetra Pak explains. ”We have had the same fluorescent lamps in this building since we switched to Aura Long Life seven years ago. We have 510 light fittings and 1,020 light sources and fewer than ten of these have blown. Long Life are indeed more expensive than standard lamps, but they are far more economical. I have not made an exact estimate on how much we save, but we know how much it costs to replace the lamps”.

Fewer troublesome changes with Aura Long Life

”By choosing Aura Long Life we avoid two of three replacements. I consider this to be the advantage with Aura Light. It is an awkward process of changing lamps, we have to rent lifts, move machines and suspend all activities on the shop floor. I am very happy with Aura Long Life, and now when anyone tells me they are about to replace their fluorescent lamps you can guess what I recommend”, says Peter Sjöström and smiles.
